2010: While enjoying substantial growth in the face of economic headwinds, Meyer Natural Foods acquired Dakota Beef, one of the largest and oldest certified organic beef brands in North America. With this acquisition, Meyer Natural Foods became the largest supplier of premium organic meat in the United States. 2011: New markets and opportunities unfolded as Meyer Natural Foods comp- letes an equity investment in Premium Natural Beef. Following this event, we established “Local Harvest LLC” to build locally sourced and processed premium beef programs in various markets throughout the United States. 2012: Meyer Natural Beef established a Canadian beef operation in Guelph, Ontario to supply locally sourced, all natural beef to Canadian retail and service customers. 2013: “ Meyer Global” was formed to export U.S. produced all natural beef and pork products to South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong / Macau, Philippines, and Taiwan. 2014: Meyer Natural Foods established South American operations headquart- ered in Montevideo, Uruguay to export food products from Uruguay, Brazil, and Argentina to the United States and other countries. 2015: Construction was initiated for two “Class A” office buildings in Loveland Colorado totaling 33,700 square feet to serve as its United States head- quarters. Meyer Natural Foods takes occupancy of the first building in July 2016. 2016: Meyer Natural Foods launched a line of all natural, antibiotic free, US sourced, Duroc based pork products through the newly established “Meyer Natural Pork” brand. 2017: Meyer Natural Foods will launch a line of lean, all natural, antibiotic free, US sourced, turkey products under its popular “Laura’s Lean” brand.
